The Guild Lounge release first set of events

Gareth Gates, Psychic Sally and The Making of a Murderer - The Real Manhunter are just some of the performances that feature as part of Guild Lounge's events programme running from October 2024 through to March 2025.

The Guild Lounge is delighted that tickets are now on sale to the public. In doing so, revitalising the Guild Hall with a variety of events including live music performances from well-known artists, classical music concerts, fringe theatre productions, a regular comedy club, family-friendly entertainment, festive shows, community performances, and unique one-off events.

Councillor Martyn Rawlinson, Cabinet Member for Resources and Deputy Leader of Preston City Council said:

"This is a significant moment in the history of the Guild Hall. Through the Guild Lounge we are increasing the city offer of events and arts to the people of Preston.

The Winter programme will add a new element to Preston's nightlife, supporting the local economy and I'm sure it is welcomed by all. We hope that people will enjoy the diverse range of shows that Guild Lounge has to offer with more to come in the future"

Gareth Gates is looking forward to returning to Preston having played Willard in the UK-wide tour, Footloose, at the Guild Hall back in 2017.

Performing at The Guild Lounge on Sunday 20 October, he said:

"It's so exciting that theatre is coming back to Preston. I'm proud to announce that I'll be visiting the brand new Guild Lounge, situated inside Preston's iconic Guild Hall with my new show "Gareth Gates sings Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons."

International Dolly Parton tribute act, Kelly O'Brien, will feature in The Guild Lounges first weekend of events with 'The Dolly Show', adding Preston onto her tour across the UK and Australia. This will be followed by more than 60 events running from Thursdays - Sundays until the end of March 2025.

Tickets are priced from £14 up to £35, showcasing really good value for money for the people of Preston and further. Tickets are now available for the following shows:

The Guild Lounge will operate weekly from Thursday to Sunday, with additional events programmed during school half-term weeks, providing entertainment options for all ages. There will also be a two week offer of festive family shows in December to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

The venue's seating capacity of 350 makes it an intimate, yet adaptable space for a variety of performance styles, fostering a closer connection between artists and audiences.
